Flare
World-map social playground — drop flares, meet nearby explorers, play shared mini-games.

A social playground built on a live world map. Users drop flares at their location, discover nearby explorers, and jump into shared mini-games. Runs on a fully self-hosted Supabase stack with realtime channels driving presence and game state.
The Problem
Map apps show you places; social apps show you feeds. Nothing showed you the people exploring around you right now, or gave strangers a playful, low-stakes way to interact in the same physical space.
The Solution
A social playground on a live world map: users drop flares at their location, discover nearby explorers, and jump into shared mini-games together. Presence and game state ride on realtime channels over a fully self-hosted Supabase stack.
